The pastoral labor focuses on the book of the acts. Our tent is all about disciples that make disciples. Our vision isn’t at all associated with today’s view of religion and denomination. We preach the gospel as it is written word for word in the Bible. We believe the word of god is the true and authentic voice of God. It is the actual authority and the spirit lead advice directly from God which we believe is there to equip us all to do God’s will. We believe in kingdom business.

ministry is a serious calling of God and the Holy Spirit confers upon us pastors the faculty of serving at Capernaum valley with the highest level of commitment and integrity. These roles are deployed in distinct capacities and with distinct gifts, the manifestations of which are used for the edification of the Body of Christ (Romans 12:6-8; 1 Corinthians 12:5-11; Ephesians 4:11-12). At Capernaum valley the calling to the ministry is one of extreme importance and of divine origin. the living Word of God contains sufficient teaching regarding the requirements that must be met and kept by the pastor, co-pastor as well as the deacon and local evangelist. All ministers on campus are tasked with serving, Therefore, an organized ecclesiastical board is deployed to examine candidates for the ministry to determine whether these candidates should be approved and what tasks they shall be assigned (Acts 1:23-26, 6:1-3; 1 Timothy 3:1-10, 4:14, 5:22; Titus 1:5-9).

Our church is intimate and consists of an RCM which is focused on Bible studies throughout the city. The RCM exists to build the kingdom of god thru the gathering at homes and different locations. The evangelism ranges from food pantry assistance, sack lunches for the needy, street preaching and even knocking on the doors in our effort to engage with our surrounding community. Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news, the kingdom and stayed busy healing disease and sickness. Matthew 9:35 teaches us that the disciples were walking with the only thing that they had of any value what so ever, and that was their faith. People believed as a result of this tangible faith and the community witnessed countless miracles in the apostolic days.

Our tent strives to reflect Jesus while leading by example of faith. We are extremely active in the hospital ministry, prison ministry. outdoor evangelism, to include our visits to the orphanages and elderly homes. According to the Bible… True religion is caring for the orphans and the widows. In the lord’s mercy we are able to provide leadership training with intent to develop, equip and send out disciples that create disciples thru our local rcm. We take this mission serious and always strive to serve as Jesus did, while adhering to Matthew 28:11 in making disciples of the nation.

Acts 29, is our beloved brothers and sisters, walking as the apostles walked in the 1st century faith. This is the only book that is still being forged. This is the primitive church life in 2026. We continue to preach and teach the apostolic way of life and walk by embracing the countless teachings jesus left us within his word to the disciples.

At Capernaum valley church we practice baptism in water, by immersion in the Name of Jesus Christ… that’s part of our acts chapter 29 reform, where we stick to the way the apostles according to the Bible example in acts 2:38-41… baptism is by immersion as it represents the death of man unto his or her sin, thus bearing similarity to the death of Christ (Romans 6:1-5). the Apostles and other ministers followed this example during the early period of the Church, in this same way, and it is recorded in the Scriptures (Acts 2:38, 8:16, 10:48, 19:6, 22:16).

Matthew 19:14 teaches a message repeated in the gospels not to forbid the children from going to Christ. Jesus says, “Let the little children come to me,” and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. With that said, Baptism is a moral decision and isn’t a requirement for infants. The heavens already belong to them. Baptism is something someone does when they reach that point and are able to decide as the lord did give us all a freedom to choose. we present the children as it is done biblically which reminds us in Luke… do not forbid them to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Luke 18:15-17… presenting infants which have nothing to repent for, thru prayer and meaningful celebrations is extremely biblical. We believe wholeheartedly if a parent is to instruct a child in the ways of the lord even after years have passed that child will not depart from the correct and honorable path of righteousness. Educating our youth is essential. But teaching them to place their eyes and hearts upon Jesus is life changing. This beautiful process starts with presenting a child in his or her infancy stage and dedicating the child to the Lord.
